In my ongoing quest to help you enjoy a first class experience on a coach budget, I’m going to share a secret with you by introducing you to the glorious Languedoc Roussillon region of France. This fabulous area in southwest France is brimming with history, culture, fine wine and cuisine, and some of the best preserved Roman ruins in existence today. I’m always surprised to learn how few travelers have explored this area, as it’s not widely known outside of Europe.
Every thing you love about Provence and the French Riviera…..abundant sunshine, sparkling Mediterranean beaches, fields of sunny sunflowers, charming markets, quaint villages…..you’ll find all these and more in Languedoc-Roussillon. But the key here, for a traveler, you’ll pay about 30-40% less for your L-R adventure than what you’d pay in Provence or Cote d’Azur. Plus less crowds!!
So stay tuned over the coming weeks for the very best this region has to offer! Hit that little “Sign Me Up” button in the upper right corner so you’ll be sure not to miss a single thing!
A bientot!

Very nice! I visited there when I was a 16 year old exchange student. My host family lived in Bordeaux. I remember watching a gorgeous musical performance with the Carcassone as the backdrop… hope I make it back there someday.
Ah how I miss the south of France. These pictures are lovely, just like the rest of your blog here. Thanks for sharing
